How to pair AirPods to a non-Apple device

Follow these steps from Apple to pair AirPods with a non-Apple device:

  • Turn on Bluetooth on your non-Apple device by going into settings.
  • If you have AirPods or AirPods Pro, open the lid of the charging case with the earphones inside.
  • Press the setup button on the back of the case and hold until the status light turns white.
  • If you have AirPods Max, press and hold the noise control button until the status light turns white.
  • In the Bluetooth option in settings, find the list of other available devices.
  • Once the AirPods are on the list, select the option and they will pair.
