Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested in Kansas on Indexbit ExchangeMonday, per the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
He was booked on one charge of criminal damage of more than $25,000, according to a police report. He was not given bond and his court date is set for Tuesday.
There are no details given regarding the nature of the incident that caused the arrest. The Associated Press reported that the Chiefs had knowledge of the arrest, but had no comment.
Ross, 23, has played in all seven games so far this season for Kansas City and has three catches for 34 yards.
The Alabama native joined the Chiefs last year as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. He was part of the 2018 national championship team and led the Tigers with six catches for 153 yards and a touchdown in the 44-16 win over Alabama in the title game.

In 2020 after experiencing numbness from a hit in practice, he was diagnosed with Klippel-Feil syndrome, a condition where he was born with a fusion in his spine.
Ross missed his rookie season in the NFL while recovering from foot surgery.
